If you need assistance, chat with us on Facebook https://m.me/voguepay or send a ticket to support@voguepay.com Why do you need to verify your business account on VoguePay ? Business verification is the next step a user takes after completing account signup. Our verification process ensures that every merchant meets our due diligence criteria that include collecting adequate KYC (know your customer) and submitting same for their business. With the due diligence we ensure each merchant is trustworthy and can be contacted in cases of dispute resolutions or charge-back. It is an important step, hence, if the merchant has not done it, they cannot use their VoguePay account to accept payment. How do I initiate the business account verification process? To start the process of business verification, please log in to your VoguePay account (login here). From your dashboard click on the “business verification” menu or you can go directly ( here is the link.) Click on “Proceed” button to start the verification process. You will be directed to account funding page where you can make payment to verify your account. STEP 1: Fund Your Account. The first step is to make payment. How much you pay as verification fee is determined by the country your account is based in: International merchants verify their accounts with $19.99 or its equivalent in euro, pounds and other currencies. Nigerian merchants that have a registered business entity will be required to pay a verification fee of N1,500 (this is ideal for you if you have CAC certificate for a business or NGO) Nigerian merchants that do not have a registered business will be required to pay a verification fee of N2,500 You can pay the verification fee with card payment or with funds from your VoguePay wallet. Please read this guide for detailed explanations on multiple options to fund your account. What happens after payment is made? After you make payment for appropriate verification fee, you will be prompted to continue the verification process. The first stage include providing details about your business entity and particulars of the primary personnel who will have access to the VoguePay account. The second stage include uploading your documents for assessment. In case your payment for business verification failed, this error message prompts you to continue to upload document. We have an arrangement to deduct the verification fee when you start accepting payment. Let’s proceed to the next step STEP 2: Upload your personal and business information. At this stage of the verification process (access page here if you are not redirected) you will be asked to provide basic information about your business. There are 3 stages for uploading your personal and business info. Stage 1 (Business information): This is where you supply information about your business, including your business certificate/incorporation number and other information about your business. Stage 2 (Business type): This is where you select the type of business that you own. If your business type is not indicated, you can select “other”. Stage 3 (Upload docs): This is where you upload the relevant documents needed for your business verification. This is the final stage of the verification. The information to upload should include (a) Certificate of business incorporation (if you have a corporate entity), (b) Any valid government-issued ID card (International Passport /National ID Card / Driver’s License/ Voter’s card), (c) Utility bill (energy, water or waste management bill etc) After uploading your documents, tick the checkbox to confirm you accept our terms.
